Dr Afshan Furqan is an experienced General Practitioner who graduated in Pakistan in 2000. She brings more than five years of overseas general practice experience and over twelve years of experience practising in Australia. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare to individuals and families, supporting patients through every stage of life.

As a dedicated Family GP, Dr Furqan believes in the importance of continuity of care and building long-term relationships with her patients. She is passionate about preventative health, chronic disease management, health assessments, immunisations, and helping patients make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. Her caring and patient-centred approach ensures each consultation is tailored to the individual needs of her patients in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Dr Furqan enjoys caring for people of all ages and is committed to promoting lifelong health within the community. Fluent in English, Urdu and Hindi, she is able to communicate effectively with patients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, helping them feel comfortable, understood and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
