Dr. Sumaira is a highly experienced General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), with over 20 years of medical experience in both Australia and overseas. She is a recipient of the prestigious Mary Mahoney Gold Medal, awarded to the top-performing candidate in the FRACGP exams, recognising her outstanding academic achievement and excellence in general practice.
Dr. Sumaira has a special interest in women’s health, including antenatal and postnatal care, infertility, contraception, and cervical screening. She is also deeply committed to cross-cultural mental health, assisting patients with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and chronic disease management. As a mother of three, Dr. Sumaira is passionate about children’s health and believes in delivering compassionate, family-focused care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sumaira enjoys spending time outdoors, boating on the beautiful Gold Coast waterways with her family, reading, and listening to music. She is dedicated to providing patient-centred, high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of individuals and families.
